Spiders' webs are revealed after a heavy shower when raindrops adorn their structure. Long strands of spider silk attach the hammock-like structure to fronds of maiden-hair spleenwort and to the facade of the wall. Niches amongst stones are hiding places for the spiders. The webs are skillful in construction and spider silk is exceptionally strong.
