Renewal: Ghyll Brow Flora, blog and gallery

PictureLily of the Valley, Ghyll Brow verge
Early June, and the Ghyll Brow flora takes on a distinctive note. All through the winter it's a seed-bank, with potential for spring and summer and I'm eager to be reacquainted. My fresh blog archive(coming July) is rather like a seed-bank, linking past and future through wildlife discovery. I hope I shall easily renew my gallery images too. I'm gathering the Ghyll Brow flowers and plan to display a range of them through the seasons.
It is 2nd June and meadow saxifrage flowers thick in the Ghyll Brow pastures.

Lily of the Valley is on the verge  of the road, on the verge of being lost when a footpath is constructed perhaps.
Taking photographs beside the road, I'm aware of passing traffic. I think few walkers stop to admire the flowers because the road can be busy. And Ghyll Brow is on the way to some other destination- probably Scout Scar.

Crosswort and Forget-me-not
Crosswort had tiny yellow flowers, honey-scented. And look at that colour contrast.

You will be able to access my website just as you do now. But the new-look blog will enable you to click on an image and enlarge it. And if you like to read a blog via smart-phone or tablet then the images will resize to suit your screen.
Behind the scenes, I'm transferring blogs. I began to transfer them, then realised I was choosing to illustrate them with new images. And I'm rewriting some, simply because I can improve them. So the archive might include blogs from an earlier date but they may well be a fresh take. You will be able to explore and see for yourself.
